Syntan is a sophisticated calculator of math functions for Windows.

It means that it allows to do the calculations with relatively complex math functions (represented by symbols) as if they were simple numbers.
But it wasn't my intention to create another monumental math program. I conversely wanted to create something having human dimension, something useful for studens solving their homeworks or for engineers who need to gain an idea about some dependences.

So I chose one-character names of symbols. It gives the total number of symbols 26, which is sufficient for the purposes mentioned above, and everything keeps simple and transparent. There is not only Editor, useful as a calculator, but there is a list of symbols, where individual symbols can be assigned with math expressions from the Editor. So Syntan is the calculator primarily, but not only!

Because they say a picture is worth a thousand words, Syntan is equipped with a very practical graph, which can show you up to three functions simultaneously.

Syntan also offers a list of instant values of all symbols, differentiations, polynomials and many more possibilities, everything living and in the move, if you want. And everything is smart, simple and easy to use.

What do you need to run Syntan:

Hardware:   PC 400MHz or faster, 64MB RAM or more

    Software:    Windows 95 or later

If you have slower PC, I recommend the older version of Syntan.
